Metafilter and POCs

If you haven't been by to MeTa in a while, there is a major discussion about the issues the site has historically had with racial/cultural issues. We've had discussions before that didn't really amount to much, of course, but this seems to really be a juncture point for the site in the way that "boyzone" was for sex. Input from folks is welcomed, especially from POC folks.

Okay, from just ten minutes reading there seems to be substance there, so I was too cynical out of the gate.

There was an initial post that kicked things off a month ago, a POC-only spin-off, and then two planning posts a day or two ago.

Out of curiosity... did anything actually come of this in the end?

There's a MeTa that just went up yesterday detailing some changes made in site documentation (apparently done in coordination with some POC members). Larger changes are still to come.
